There are so many Comet appear in the sky in 2020 but none of them draw astrologer’s attention because they are not as shine as great comet , Comet Atlas was the first one we were expecting to see it dramatic performing in the sky in March but it has broken apart before it can be seen by the naked eye. Comet Swan was another one it can be seen by the naked eye for a couple days when it was moved from constellation Cetus to Pisces . Comet Neowise does not draw our attention at all until now it shines in the morning sky after it reached perihelion on 3rd July 2020. In this case astrologers should take its influence into account.
Comet news has been reported to be seen by the naked eye before Sun rise from 5th July when it was at constellation Auriga in Greek mythology, Auriga is related to the ancient King of Athens, Erichthonius, whose father was Hephaestus, the god of craft, blacksmiths, fire and volcanoes. Like his father, Erichthonius’s legs were out of shape, but his wisdom and crafty hands made the World’s first Chariot, and he taught his people how to use the plough, it related to Technique and Agriculture, Auriga is also related to the chariot, and people with disabilities, we may notice some important things happening related to the car, car industry and disability rights between now and next year.
After Auriga, Comet Neowise will move to Lynx, this modern constellation was introduced in the late 17 century. I guess this may suggest issues related to wild animals, especially Comet Neowise will move into Ursa Major after 18th June and also related to large wild animals.
ON the 3rd July when Comet Neowise reached perihelion it was projected on 29 Gemini and move into 0 Cancer, those themes related to Gemini and Cancer should maybe going to affect by comet such as communication, basic education, short distance traveling, food, house, family, agriculture, seafarer, care taking.
On the 9th July Comet will align with Mercury on 5 Cancer, this suggest Transport, communication, basic education, short distance travelling are going to be affect by Comet Neowise, on the 17th July it will align with the Sun on 25 Cancer, it will has strong impact on the the ruling class and countries’ leader, from 19th July comet Neowise will move into Leo, never less according the report it has golden colour, in this case Comet Neowise C/2020 F3 has nature of the Sun it related to ruling class, heads of countries, too.
Many people asked why the name ” Neowise ” it is because it has been discovered on March 27, 2020 by the NEOWISE space telescope. On the morning of 11th July, I got up 2am tried to have my first observation of Comet Neowise, I could see it somewhere near my house with my eyes, but it is not very bright because of light pollutions, so I walked 30 minutes to Lloyds park, around 3am comet was hanging 9° above horizon and 27° NorthEast , it looks like a tiny cloud as my eyesight wasn’t that great, I use binoculars to see it beautiful tail, and started taking photo. Comet fad into the day light around 3:40.
Most of us will agree that 2020 is an unforgettable year. Many people have never experienced: this type of life threatening pandemic, lockdown, keep physical distance with other people, restriction of movement and traveling. During this difficult time we also witness instability in the financial markets, jobs cuts and racist attacks. I have forecast those issues in several different articles regarding Pluto in Capricorn, Saturn in Capricorn and Saturn Pluto conjunction forecasting.
Soon we will face the Eclipse season of June-July 2020: Lunar Eclipses on 5th June and 5th Julyand a Solar Eclipse on the 21st June same-day as June Solstice, Cancer ingress. As Sun approaches the Moon’s north node, it is moon wobble season at the same time. We usually consider the Moon wobble to be when the Sun approaches the Lunar Nodes within14 degrees, this means that the Moon wobble season starts on the same day as the Lunar Eclipse in June. This suggests the strong impact of this Eclipse season can last a whole summer longer than other eclipse and as usual the influence of Lunar Eclipse are usually last for 6 months and Solar Eclipse could last for one year or more.
The Background : Outer planet cycles
We should never ignore the influence of the outer planet cycles even if we are focussed on an Eclipse, it will give us the big picture of what might happen. We should understand that we are still under the influence of Saturn Pluto conjunction, and we have already witnessed the impact of this aspect in global economic crisis and Pandemic of COVID-19. Saturn in Aquarius brings us distance and rejection, if we examine it carefully it relates to Hitler gaining power and starting to persecute the Jews in 1932.
The Jupiter Pluto conjunction makes people aware of the power of the ruling class, how rich people and the elite dominate our society in the name of moral, religious, security or financial stability. Finally the most important outer planet cycle, the Jupiter Saturn conjunction in Aquarius should be the most important aspect of this year, it has influence for the next twenty years and it is the start of a great conjunction in Air signs, this could suggest a fundamental change all around the World, it could be the time to examine materialism and the relationship between humanity and the World.
The influences of these outer plants cycles should be taken into account when we apply any mundane astrology forecasting skills from Ingress to Eclipse to County leader’s transit or progression.
Solar Saros Cycle 137
Both the Lunar Eclipse and Solar Eclipse in June and July can be consideredas Family of Solar Saros Cycle 137 or North 4. This Saros cycle, beginning in 1389, is usually related to difficult times and Neptune themes, for example the economic downturns in 1894 and 1930 are both under this Saros cycle. China usually has important events happen during this Saros cycle. In 1840, the Qing dynasty had the First Opium war with the UK and in 1895 it was at war with Japan. These wars forced the Qing dynasty to give away Hong Kong and Taiwan. The cultural revolution,with its huge impact in Chinese history, started in 1966 also in the same Saros cycle.

This Saros cycle also has a strong impact on Hong Kong and the relationship between the UK and China. When the British took over Hong Kong from 26 Jan 1841 during first Opium war, it was under the influence of Saros Cycle 137 (and also 142).Also the Joint Declaration of the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Government of the People’s Republic of China on the Question of Hong Kong was signed in1984.Interestingly, a few issue related to Gibraltar were also related to this Saros Cycle.
Outbreaks of pandemics or discovery of deadly viruses are related to this Saros. For example, Bubonic plague broke out in the South China area in 1894.The World Health Organization was established in 1948. The first HIV case in US as a sixteen-year-old male presented with symptoms in 1966 and died in 1969. In the end of 2002 SARS started in South China ( SARS was under the influence of both 137 and 142 ). We know that COVID-19 belongs to the same family of viruses as SARS, it started around the end of 2019, under the influence of Solar Saros Cycle 132 and it may continue to have influence after 21st June or have a stronger impact as thethe Saros Cycle 137 is related to pandemic. It looks like ocean disasters occurr very often during Saros Cycle 137, Titanic’s maiden voyage started on 10th April 1912, 7 days before Solar Eclipse. In March 1967 the SS Torrey Canyon caused an environmental disaster when it was shipwrecked off the west coast of Cornwall, England, at that time, the largest vessel to be wrecked. In 2002 Greek oil tanker MV Prestige split in half off the coast of Galicia, the worst environmental disaster in the history of the Iberian Peninsula.More recently, on 29th May 2020 at least 20,000 tons of diesel fuel leaked into the Ambarnaya River in Russia.
Apart from UK and China, a few other countries may face challenges during Saros Cycle 137. Japan, Korea, Brazil, Israel, New Zealand, South Africa and those countries formed or becoming independent in the year 1948 or 1966 are very likely to have important political developments during this Saros cycle.
Lunar Eclipse in June
This Lunar Eclipse happened on 5th June 2020 19:26 UT, Sun Moon opposition at 15ºGemini – Sagittarius this axis is related to communication, opinion, ideas, education, religion, traveling, communityand International geopolitics. Uranus was at 8º Taurus align with Hamel the fixed star related to conflicts, this already show by protests around the world at this moment, however it also align with another fixed star Shedir which represent female power, maybe this symbol suggest us to change our way to manage conflict with female quality of contain, receptive, nourish each other and reflection.
People and countries that have Sun, Moon or Ascendent near 15º mutable signs are more likely to be affected by the Lunar eclipse. North Korea, Latvia, Philippines, Brazil, Denmark, Norway, Malaysia and New Zealand all fit this category.

There is another Lunar Eclipse on 5th July 2020 4:44 UT, Sun Moon opposition at 13 º Cancer and Capricorn, this axis is related to parental issues, care taking and management, ruling and control.

Cancer ingress Solar Eclipse

This year we have Solar Eclipse on 21 June 2020 6:41 UT.We will notice it is on the day of Cancer ingress (June solstice day), both events are important for mundane astrology, usually the influence ofCancer Ingress only last for three months but this time it may last longer than one year.
Many astrologers consider the 0º of Cardinal sign as the World axis, when a planet passes by this degree it can have a huge influence, this is why this Solar Eclipse could have a huge impact.
First of all, this Solar Eclipse happens in Cancer, a water sign, and it still square Mars in Pisces. Although Neptune is not square New Moon directly but it does conjunct with Mars, so we can take this as an emphasise of the water element as well. Therefore we should be careful with Ocean, River, Rainfall, and any damage caused by water, related to water.
Moon as the ruler of the Eclipse suggests a sensitive quality, which we can read as being easy to beinfluenced or get infected. However Moon in Cancer as it is her own sign, may suggest it is strong enough to overcome the challenge cause by eclipse and other planets.

Cancer Ingress chart
I would like to quickly address the Cancer Ingress chart, as it will happen on the same day as the Solar Eclipse. I will not analyse its influence again but I would like to point out the Angle of Cancer ingress chart will be similar to Aries ingress chart therefore if there is an outer planet on the angle of Aries ingress, it will repeat again in Cancer ingress chart. For example, in the UK we have Pluto on the Ascendent in both Aries ingress and Cancer ingress charts. This reminds us that the threat of death, lockdown (captivity) situation and feeling of crisis are not going away easily even though our government wants to ease the lockdown. From the Cancer ingress chart I think we will soon face another period of restriction of movement this summer, if we use Astromap, we will see the North and West European counties are affected ( France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Netherland, Denmark Sweden).
In Beijing’s Cancer Ingres chart there is Neptune and Mars on M.C, we already mentioned the possible influence of these two planets and so China should handle its challenge very careful as Saros Cycle 137 usually brings problems for China. Nearby countries like the Philippines and Taiwan have Mars on MC, this may indicate tension with China during this time.
Japan has Pluto Jupiter near DSC and so should be careful not only prepare for pandemic but also Ocean and Water related disasters.This could also mean Rainfall during Typhoon season or a tsunami caused by a powerful earthquake and may cause devastation, especially for West and South Japan which have Chiron on M.C paran with Pluto Jupiter Saturn on DSC. As Jupiter Pluto Saturn also on New Zealand’s DSC I will give same warning to that area, however during the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic New Zealand reacted very fast and handled it very well, I hope that the Pluto on the DSC may suggest a careful attitude toward to foreign visitors during this time.

Comet Swan was conjunct with Algol on 20th May and Comet Atlas will conjoint with Alcyon between 29-30 May, on the New Moon of 22 May ( 23 May in Hong Kong), comet was align with Comet on 2 Gemini. This configuration give us a warning of huge impact can be expect this month especially we are step into Eclipses season. On the New Moon chart Sun Moon were also align with Fixed Star MIrfak it locate at Perseus constellation represent male energy,fighting and hunting.Mercury is very close to Bellatrix, this fixed star has been related to fight and defence and roaring are usually relate to this star suggest it looks more like an up hill battle, and Mercury are very close to IC in the New Moon chart in Hong Kong this make the influence of Bellatrix more effectively.

Comet C/2020 F8 Swan and Deneb Kaitos Shemali Photo Credit to Evan Tsai
C/2020 F8 SWAN was discovered on March 25, 2020, by the Solar Heliospheric Observer (SOHO) spacecraft. Although it is faint, it still visible by the naked eye from early May. This means it could have astrological significance and if this comet lasts long enough, by the end of May it could be significantly brighter.
I should also remind of Comet Atlas C/2019 Y4which is currently in the heavens and although it is not going to be a great comet, it will reach 6 magnitude after 27th May, and it will get very close to Pleiades between 29 – 30 May when it should be visible. The Pleiades are usually related to crying and sadness, and Robson tells us that Alcyone is linked to love, eminence and blindness (from fevers, small pox, and accidents to the face).
This suggests we may have 2 visible comets in the sky around Perseus and Taurus at the end of May. I made a forecast regarding Comet Atlasat the endof March, please read it if you are interested.
Now when I say “visible to the naked eye” they are only going to light dots in the sky because they are not great comets so please don’t expect to see a bright comet with a tail. However as we can see them then they still have some impact on us.
Usually comets are seen as bad omens, linked to disease, disaster and death of famous people, especially the leader of a country but we can learn more of its impact from its trajectory through the Heavens.
Comet Swan has an interesting route across the sky.It moves from Cetus Pisces cross celestial equator and moves towards Perseus, it can be seen by the naked eye from south hemisphere when comet was in Cetus constellation whale or sea monster, According to Ptolemy this constellation is like Saturn. It is said to cause laziness and idleness, but to confer an emotional and charitable nature, with the ability to command, especially in war. Makes one amiable, prudent, happy by sea and land, and helps to recover lost goods. This constellation is related to whale, marine life, seafare, those fear or feeling deep inside of us.
After Comet Swan cross celestial equator it moved into Pisces it represents water, ocean, fish, duality, link between tow things, feeling and relocation. Both Cetus and Pisces repeat similar themes, water, ocean, marine life and feeling. This suggest certain change in our relation with the ocean and water resource.
After Pisces Comet Swan moved move into Triangulum. This constellation has not been of interest to astrologers but it has very interesting history, first it was called the Plough in Babylonian star catalogues marking the time to begin spring ploughing in Mesopotamia.It was also called Sicilia, because the Romans believed Ceres, patron goddess of Sicily, begged Jupiter to place the island in the heavens. This suggests the comet may affect agriculture, agricultural tools and Scilly.
Between 19th – 29th May,Comet Swan will be in Perseus, this constellation is related to male sexual energy,the military, attacking and hunting. According to Ptolemy, Perseus is like Jupiter and Saturn, t is said to give an intelligent, strong, bold and adventurous nature, but a tendency to lying. On the other hand it may suggest people who are going on an adventure to save others and earn glory.It may also suggest we need to use reflection to deal with our problem, like Perseus slaying Medusa by looking into the mirror to avoid her gaze. On 20th of MayComet SWAN will exactly conjunct Algol, and we all know of this star’s infamy, it is Medusa’s head and Perseus’s trophy. It petrifies those who look directly upon its eyes.Robson tells us that it causes misfortune, violence, decapitation, hanging and has a violent nature that causes death to the native or others. It is the most evil star in the heavens. However Dr Brady relates this fixed star with Lilith, Adam’s rebellious wife, an independent female who is not afraid to express her female sexual energy. I hope this comet’s creative and communication quality can express Algol’s female kundalini energy like Dr. Brady mentions in her book. Its Chinese name as 大陵五 (The Fifth – 五, star of Great – 大 Mausoleum – 陵）In this case we may see a more devastatingdevelopment of this Pandemic and the economic situation.
From 30th of May to Mid June Comet C/2020 F8 SWAN will move into Auriga, this constellation has be seen as a scimitar or a crook, so it related to a tool for catching or management. In Greek mythology, Auriga is related to the ancient King of Athens, Erichthonius, whose father was Hephaestus, the god of craft, blacksmiths, fire and volcanoes. Like his father,Erichthonius’s legs were out of shape, but his wisdom and crafty hands made the World’s first Chariot, and he taught his people how to use the plough (we see this link again), as both Triangulum and Auriga are related to agriculture and tools or techniques of agriculture, I can surely forecast that some important impact to agriculture may happen soon, as Auriga is also related to the chariot, and people with disabilities, we may notice some important things happening related to the car, car industry and disability rights between now and next year.
While Comet Swan in Auriga, it will conjucnt fixed star Capella on the 2nd June, Robson tells us it is of the nature of Mars and Mercury; and, to Alvidas, of Mercury and the Moon. It gives honor, wealth, eminence, renown, a public position of trust and eminent friends, and makes its natives careful, timorous, inquisitive, very fond of knowledge and particularly of novelties. In Greek mythology, the star represented the goat Amalthea that suckled Zeus. It may offer protection for people in need, this star also said is a small she goat befeat Titan, so maybe something small suprisingly help people to defeat great power.
Comet Swan moves between 5 Taurus to 29 Gemini on tropical zodiac between now and mid June, Taurus is related to earth, land, food, agriculture, money resource and financial markets. No need to predict an economic crisis as the global economy is going down at the moment, All I can say is as both comet Atlas and Swan are passing Taurus, I will not expect a stable world economy before Summer 2021.
Comet Swan will align with Uranus on 7 Taurus on 15th May, this suggests a shocking separation, independence or a rebel force taking action. Also we can expect new innovation in technology, or some people or something has been released, this may also mean relief from stigma, or decriminalisation .
As Comet Swan moves into Gemini after 22 May, if we can still see it with the naked eye, we should expect some shocking news regarding children, primary education, transport or communications. On 23rd of May, Comet Swan will align with the New Moon on 2 Gemini this degree also aligns with the fixed star Mirfak which repeats the Perseus theme of male sexual energy,fighting and challenges, as the comet has a strong impact on the New Moon chart and we are one step away from Solstice Eclipse, we can foresee that this June will not be a peaceful month.
At this moment, we don’t need a comet to tell us this is a troubling time. There is a hope that these troubles will pass soon but the presence of two visible comets in the sky lead me to think that these hopes are not well founded.
A year later, I reviewed the major global events happened between Dec 2018 to 2020; comparing these to the article I wrote in Oct 2018, there are actually some interesting findings.
First of all, from the perspective of the comets and the planets on the zodiac, the comet ‘s orbit was between the end of Aries and Gemini from the end of November to December, and Uranus was the only planet in this region at that time.
The events that I predicted include riots, protests, nuclear, earthquakes, investment markets, which are all Uranus issues, as well as finances and large animals which are related to Taurus, and students, transportation, and communications that are related to Gemini. Surprisingly, the yellow vest movement broke out in France immediately after the comet passed Uranus in December. The whole movement lasted for over a year, which involved large-scale protests, riots and destructions as well as blockage of highways. The anti-extradition movement of Hong Kong that broke out in July gradually evolved into a large-scale protest, whose participants are mostly young people and students. In Russia, a rather serious explosion of nuclear weapon factory took place in Aug 2018 and was followed by radiation leakage.
Fixed stars and constellations outside of the zodiac are also used in my prediction. At that time, the comet passed constellation Fornax, and I pointed out that it may lead to events related to chemical factories and pollution – in January of 2019, an oil pipe explosion in Mexico killed 137 people; in March, a chemical factory exploded in China, which is so intense that it even triggered an subsequent earthquake; in September, a biochemical plant in Russia which stored Ebola, smallpox and anthrax exploded.
Then, the comet passed by the constellation Eridanus which symbolises water, rivers, falling down and dropping off, as well as sudden changes in the environment; in the summer of this year, both China and India suddenly suffered serious floods which caused numerous casualties and financial losses .
What is more spectacular is when the comet passed through the constellation Perseus, a constellation of intense masculine sexual drive; simultaneously, the sexual abuse cases of Harvey Weinstein became the focus of the world until he was finally sentenced in Jan 2020. The comet also passed another constellation Auriga, a constellation related to traffic and movement. I related this to issues related to the limitation of freedom of movement. Since January 23, 2020, the outbroke of the coronavirus epidemic led to the lockdown of Wuhan, followed by other cities in China and subsequently the lockdown of many other countries around the world in the spring of 2020. The epidemic has long been associated to comets. Besides the coronavirus which caused global shock and financial recession since Dec 2019, we from ancient times to the present. In addition to our description of the new crown pneumonia that began to cause global shock and economic recession in December, not to mention the serious spread of Ebola in Africa in 2019.These events are indeed resonate with the movement of comet Wirtanen in the sky and the related delineation of the constellations, which I believe are of great help to astrological study.
Comet C/2019 Y4 Atlas in the Sky near Ursa Major on 29th Mar 2019 2AM
On the 28th December 2019, the Asteroid Terrestrial-impact Last Alert System (ATLAS) in Hawaii discovered the comet C/2019 Y4 (now called comet Atlas), when it was around 19th magnitude.There is a chance that it will become a bright comet in May, but we can be sure that comet Atlas will be visible to the naked eye from early May 2020, in the early evening, and it is expected to reach perihelion on 31st May 2020. If it does not break apart after it passes the Sun it could become brighter, with Nasa’s JPL Horizons program suggesting a magnitude of -5 which means it could be visible in daylight. Studies suggest that comet Atlas has an orbital period of approximately 6,026 years, so the last time it appeared in the skies would have been around 40th century BC when human culture was just starting, China was in the Neolithic period and the Egypt and Mesopotamia region was in the Chalcolithic period.
For most astrologers, comets are a bad omen of natural disaster, plague, war or death of a country leader or famous person, none of which I would deny.At this moment, the whole World faces the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, so the appearance of comet Atlas in the sky may suggest this pandemic will not end soon or that there are other things threatening our life in the coming year.Some astrologers even suggest these events could have started six months before the comet appeared. I think this needs more research and does not help for astrological forecasting or “prediction”.

How is comet Atlas going to affect us?
Look at the comet’s trajectory, it appeared near Ursa Major and will stay there until end of March, then move into Camelopardalis and then into Perseus from 13th May to 26th May, which will be the best time to see it, in the early evening. From 27th May it will move into Taurus and cross the Sun, it will then,if it does not break apart, continue its journey to Orion.
These constellations can give us some idea about what areas of life may be affected in the coming year. Ursa Major indicates wild animals, environment and nature.The Camelopardalis constellation also indicates wild animals and camels.Perseus suggests male reproduction and abilities, warriors, sexual issues and hunting. Taurus is usually related to bulls, cows and large domestic animals but it is also related to money, financial markets, land, food and storage. Comet Atlas will get very close to Pleiades between 29 – 30 May when it can be seen by naked eyes, Pleiades are usually related to crying, sadness, Alcyone causes love, eminence, blindness from fevers, small pox, and accidents to the face. Orion is usually related with fighting, hunting and war.
If we project the trajectory of comet Atlas on the tropical zodiac, when it can be seen with naked eye in May, it moves from 23 Gemini to 27 Taurus, and its perihelion projects on to 27 Taurus 21” which aligns with the fixed star Algol within 1°, after this it moves towards tropical Gemini again. Gemini suggests: young people, children, students, neighbourhood, short journeys and transport. The fixed star Algol, is believed by some astrologers to be a most unfortunate star. Robson said it is the most evil star in the heavens, it has the nature of Saturn Jupiter and causes misfortune, violence, decapitation, hanging… its violent nature causes death.
During this time, comet Atlas will “conjunct”or “align” with Venus on 5th May, Mercury at 10 Gemini on 17 May, and conjunct the Sun within 5° from 22nd May, with an exact conjunction of the Sun on 24th May.May 22nd is a New Moon in Gemini, which means comet Atlas will conjunct this new Moon before it passes the Sun. When a comet conjuncts with Venus it suggests finance, female, beauty and fashion.A Mercury conjunction suggests: transport, education, students and communication.The Moon conjunction is about Seafaring, Oceans, Food, Agriculture and Female. The Sun conjunction suggests leaders, especially death or abdication of a country’s leader, the Sun also represents celebrity, male and gold.
The countries and organisations that have Sun Moon Asc Mc and Chart ruler between23 Gemini to 27 Taurus are more likely to face huge challenges. We already know the comet can be seen with the naked eye even before it passes the Sun, so countries with indicators near 27 Taurus, like Spain (1479 Chart), Chad, Lesotho, Cape Verde will be especially affected. Countries which have Sun, Moon Asc near 2-4 Gemini will also be affected as the comet Atlas will join the new Moon at these degrees, I found Jordan, Argentina (revolution chart), Mexico (constitution) and Singapore are in this category. It will also affectcountries that are usually related to Taurus, like Cyprus, Russia, Ireland and Switzerland, and countries related to Gemini (according to Lilly England is one, especially London). I saw that Lilly suggests Lombardy is related to Gemini and this area is currently the one most affected by coronavirus in Italy.Also most astrologers will agree that U.S is usually related to Gemini as well.
In my research comet do not only bring disasters, they can also inspire us to have new ideas, make important discoveries and create life changing inventions.They can also release people from difficult situations, responsibility or stigma. It could be be a hard time,but what we do to make the most of it is up to us.Andre Baubault views comets as communicators and mediators of the Universe. When we see how our governments react against each other at this moment, we can hope that the comet will help us to put more effort into communicating with each other and bring us together.

5. Table setting : I usually have Apparent AZ & EL, Visual mag. & Surface Brght, Constellation ID, and for astrologer most important is Observer ecliptic lon. & lat. this will give you zodiac degree ( 0-29 = Aries , 30 – 59 = Taurus … ), if you want Declination you can select Astrometric RA & DEC too. Than click use selected setting
6. Click Generate Ephemerise.. you will grt information you need.
Comet 46P ( middle green blur light ) on 11th Dec 2018
Astronomers and comet fans are expecting a bright comet to appear in the sky in December 2018. The comet 46P/ Wirtanen is a short period comet with an orbital period 5.4 years discovered in 1948. If we are lucky this comet will have magnitude 3 which is visible with naked eye.
Comet comet 46P/ could be the brightest comet of 2018 and it could reach magnitude 3, on 16th December, making it visible to the naked eye and an easy target for binoculars or small telescopes. I am here trying to use the astronomy software to forecast its route and trying to find out the possible meaning in Astrology. When a bright comet could be seen it usually has astrological meaning.
However, due to comet’s unpredictable character, Comet 46/P may not be bright enough to be seen and therefore it may not have influence on us.
A bright comet usually represents shocking events Most ancient astrologer related it to nature disasters and death of country leaders or famous people. Its impact usually lasts for one year. In my research, I suggest comets not only bring such shocking news but also creative power, ground breaking inventions, important breakthrough in technology and communication, transporting and connection, releasing someone or something to freedom, and decriminalisation.
Apparently, comet 46P/ Wirtanen is now located in the constellation Fornax in the southern sky. It was named by French astronomer Nicolas Louis de Lacaille in 1756, which symbololises the Chemical Furnace. Comet 46/P will stay in this constellation until 27th Nov 2018. We may expect there would be something to do with chemistry and chemical industry (including oil and pharmaceutical) . Important discoveries, disasters or some shocking news about chemistry and pollution may also break out.
According to the ephemeris, Comet Wirtanen will move into the constellation Cetus between 28th Nov – 4th Dec and 10th-11th Dec. Cetus, which is a sea monster in Greek mythology, symbolises intense the emotions deep inside your heart, but it could also be related to the seafarer, the ocean environment and marine life, especially whales and dolphins.
From 5th – 9th Dec, Comet 46/P will move into Eridanus, suggesting river issues, water issues, flooding, falling, descending and sudden changes in environment.
The period between 12th-18th Dec is very important as the comet is not only in tropical Taurus, but also in the constellation Taurus. This suggests we should be caring about large animals, agriculture and global finance, and the comet will cross the ecliptic on the 16th Dec and be very close to Pleiades and get very bright on that day. Pleiades could suggest sadness, grief, judgemental, insight and vision
From 19th to 21st Dec, comet Wirtanen will move to constellation Perseus. This constellation is more about young male energy, fertility issue, hunting and fighting. Noonan suggests that this constellation is indicative of events affecting large numbers of people, especially those events caused by major meteorological phenomenon.
Comet 46/P Wirtanen will keep the same brightness and move into Auriga between 22nd – 28th Dec. This constellation is related to cars, driving, transport, technology and education. It will be very close to fixed star Capella on 23rd Dec, leading to issues around the freedom to move, care-taking and protection. Small things would have important influence when one faces challenges.
If we use celestial longitude (which astrologers are more familiar), the comet would be in Aries on tropical zodiac between 21 Oct to 1 Dec. With Aries which is a fire sign, it could indicate fights, wars and big fire. More importantly, the comet will be in Taurus between 2nd Dec to 16th Dec and will very likely be visible, so we should pay attention to themes which Taurus governs – money, finance, agriculture, earth, physical security, resources and belongings. Disasters related to earth signs include earthquakes and famines. If comet 46/P could be see in Taurus, we could expect theses event in 2019.
Don’t forget that countries ruled by Taurus could receive the comet’s influence. When 46P move into Taurus on 2nd Dec, it will “conjunct ” or should we say “align” with Uranus; therefore, it will inevitably bring forth some shocking news on energy industries, nuclear, high technology and financial markets.
If this comet keeps the same brightness after moving into Gemini between 16th Dec to 26th Dec, we should then observe education, commerce, transport , car industries, communication and postal system, protests and revolutions. Natural disasters related to air sign would be strong wind and storms. Again, if this comet is bright enough to be seen in the sky when it moves into Gemini, we should be careful with the occurrence of these events next year. There was something spectacular happened in 1517 -1518 which worth our notice. At that time, Saturn and Pluto were conjunct in Capricorn, and Uranus was in Taurus – these outer planet placements are what we are going to experience in 2019.

We cannot say that this single act boosted religious reformation at that time, especially when Jan Hus and John Wyclif had already criticised the Church publicly in the 14th century, and their words have had influence ever since. When considering East-West Schism, we should not only think about religious difference.

We notice that Transiting Uranus on 2 degrees of Taurus right on his M.C and square his Pluto and it is his Uranus return. 27th of July 20:20 UT Lunar Eclipse at 4º Leo-Aquarius
This year we have three Solar Eclipses, in February, July and August; and two Lunar Eclipses in January and July. In this article I will focus on the influence of the July and August Eclipses. It is not strange that we have two solar eclipses one after another, This is because the eclipses have an 18 years cycle and every 54 years you can expect an eclipse to occur at a similar time in the same place, ancient astrologers called this Saros cycles. Every Saros cycle last nearly 1300 years, but when an old Saros comes to the end, another new cycle will start 28 days later.This will cause two solar eclipses to happen within a month, like this year, and when this happens we usually can expect a Partial Solar eclipse to happen near the South Pole and another near the North Pole. Signs and Elements of 2018 summer eclipses
The Solar Eclipse on the 13th of July will occur at 20º Cancer, this suggests important events around Caring, Nurturing, Parenting, Family and Foods. Cancer is a water sign, it is about Ocean, Seafaring, Shipwreck, Drowning, Water pollution and natural disasters related to water, for example flooding and tsunami.
The Solar Eclipse on the 11th of August is located at 18º Leo, and 27th of July Lunar Eclipse at 4º Leo-Aquarius, their themes are famous people, heads of countries, entreatment and creativity, as a fire sign we will expect to see Heatwave, Explosion, War, Massacre, Mass shooting. The influence of Solar Eclipses will have a one year effect and Lunar Eclipse will only last for 6 months. Nodal Axis
Moon nodes play an important role in Eclipses, it is because of the New Moon occurring near where the Moon Node Solar Eclipse happens, and when a Full Moon happens near Nodal axis it will become a Lunar Eclipse. That is why we consider the influence of Nodal axis, at this time we have north node in Leo and South Node in Aquarius, as we already discussed the influence of these two signs, now we will focus on the Planets conjunct node in the Eclipse chart.
If we look all the three Eclipse charts we will notice they all have Mars conjunct south node and retrograde in Aquarius also it is out of bounds. This suggests active energy towards social and political movements, especially those things people think they are used to, like customs and tradition. People are angry about those malpractices that have been ignored for a long time. However a retrograde Mars holds this anger back and may delay the action it also easily causes frustration and increases anger inside, somehow out of control.Even though Mars is retrograde we should still expect important violent events to happen under the influence of the Eclipses.
We also have Uranus square Nodal axis during this time, the sudden change, rebelling, revolution, demonstration and political, social and economic reforms, electricity and technology problems will be important themes during this period. It looks like we may experience a very unpleasant time, full of upheaval.Don’t expect the crisis and difficulties can be solved quickly and easily, as eclipses and those planets forming major aspect to Sun and Moon are all on fixed signs.The battle will last longer then you think. In a positive way, we can also use this powerful energy brought by Uranus to change the things we want to change.
Solar Eclipse in July
Pluto exact opposite Sun and Moon suggests a powerful impact, such as power struggles in politics, international conflicts, refugees, people struggling in life and death situations, hostage, mafia, financial market crashes are very likely to happen within a year.
