This is a important referendum for people in UK and EU and the support of both campaigns are very very close at this moment , we know that since early June the leave campaign are leading in poll however the tragedy of Jo Cox slightly change things.

I read many of analysts from respectful astrologers Mark Cullen, Sharon Knight, Olga Morales, Faye Cossar  and many other astrologers and be very honestly I basically agree the leave have more chance to win and I also want to do one by myself but I am afraid of my personal feeling of support to remain in EU will distort my analyse.  It took me several days to think about this but I finally decide to write it down.

Here is my approach, I first studied UK 18010 chart wit Transit, Second progression, Solar Arc, Aries Ingress Cancer Ingress , Fixed stars and Solar Eclipse. Also study the  chart of 1973 when UK enter EEC with techniques above this will give me some ideas about will we have big change regarding the relationship between UK and EU.

I then studied chart of Treaty of Rome (25th Mar 1957  ) as EU natal chart and also consider maastricht treaty ( 1st Nov 1993 ) as another chart for EU to see if EU going to face something change. This will not suggest UK’s leave or stay however it will describe the change of EU after this vote.

Finally I studied David Cameron’s personal chart with Transit, Second progression, Solar Arc, Solar return, also have quick look Boris Johnson ’s chart to compare.       

1. 1801 Chart

Support for remain in EU

Tr Mars tri Mo ( although Mars itself have a meaning of cut off and independent but it rule 7th represent other countries ) as it form a harmony trine I take it as a gentle negotiation (or black mail ) , not brutal cut off.

Tr Ju and Tr Pl both wide trine Ma , it give support to Mars but only have weak (large orbs) and subtle (Pluto and 12th) influence.

Solar Arc Ju tri Pl, Sa Ur set Pl (easy the difficult financial situation )

Cancer ingress chart have Asc rule Saturn opposite powerful 4th ruler aghast government usually we take 4th as opposition could this also suggest PM’s enemy ( Johnson and Gove)?  Saturn rule both Asc and 12th again another sign of self destruction of PM.

2016 March Solar Eclipse chart has Uranus right on angle this can not be ignore and Saturn on Asc also suggest the rejection , Mercury rule 7th square by Mars ruler IC ( sense of belonging ).

Conclusion of 1801 chart studies : 

There is no harmonic aspect in Secondary progression chart suggest the resentful feeling in the country, Solar Arc chart also suggest lots of conflict and discord , my hope is the Harmony aspect in Aries ingress chart toward to Sun ( rules 7th in Aries ingress chart ) suggest no huge conflict with other countries. Again I should be very careful about this as I am mainly support remain and maybe I weigh a bit more on the Aries ingress chart.    The transit (include Solar Eclipse and Ingress charts ) suggest environment and global situation build up tension and support leaving EU. The Fixed stars paran also give some idea of dramatic change. Although I support remind but it looks like PM and the remain campaign lead by him are not in favour.

2. 1973 UK enter EEC chart

I studied this chart as a relationship between UK and EU and I took whole chart as a relationship deal and see any disharmony signs in Transit Progression as deal break factors, also I took 7th house in this chart as the relationship itself rather than other countries.   

 

This chart it self have Pluto in Libra on Asc, Chiro in 7th . I will not consider Mars as a sign of cut off as it rule 7th but maybe  hard aspect from Uranus are more like the separation. The trine between Venus and Chiron in 7th and Moon tight conjunct Mars Neptune in Sagittarius are suggest   the dream and idea to be bigger. Of course the Sun square by Chiron and Pluto are like what “ leave campaign “  said we lost control of our own country. Sun conjunct Jupiter look nice but a Jupiter in fall make this relationship  like a down-grade deal, people maybe gave too much hope (Jupiter) and expect in better future (So rule 11th ) from neighbour help each other (Jupiter rule 3rd). 

The only thing I like in this chart is the Mars Jupiter mutual reception although there is no traditional aspect but a semi square this suggest the huge effort EU (include UK) paid to maintain stable.

Conclusion of 1973 chart studies : 

As I was born on 1973 I know this year could be taught as most transit form hard aspect to Natal chart and this is 42 year for UK entry EU therefore an inevitable midlife crisis for this relationship could be expected , sounds like this relationship have to be reconsider again. Again the Transit suggest tendency to leave but Solar Arc and Secondary progression are suggest easier situation.

3. Treaty of Rome 25 Mar 1957

  

I use Treaty of Rome as EU natal chart as this is very beginning point of EU , this chart have exaltation Sun sextile Moon . Exaltation Venus conjunct Sun (non-trastional), Sun trine Mars and Neptune trine Pluto . Uranus trine Sun in 6house , Saturn trine Mercury near Dsc , We can see the clear idea of this chart , Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, to create a common market of goods, workers, services and capital within the EEC’s member states

base on the  European Coal and Steel Community (6th house ) .

I will not see the transit progression and direction of this chart as the factor of leave of remain of UK but only the current situation of EU altogether with chart of Maastricht treaty.   

In the transit chart Transit Chiron conjunct Venus ( Asc ruler ), Tr Saturn Opp Mars , Tr Pluto conjunct IC as the basic challenges to EU and a danger sign of reform (Pluto on IC )  however 7 house ruler Mars trine Asc ruler Venus suggest the idea of common market still be agreed by member countries.   

The Secondary progression chart has Mars ON MC this is not a sign for break as Mars rule Dsc of this treaty as the deal and relationship , Sp Moon on 27 Pisces conjunct Vensu another good sign for EU stay together.

The Solar Arc in another way suggest some change , the SA Mars conjunct Uranus this suggest a change action ( break up ).  SA Mars opposition Moon the management of EU has been criticised , SA Venus square Pluto and SA Neptune square Venus , SaMars square Neptune all strongly suggest a division inside of EU.

Transit as current situation is difficult , SP suggest  EU people still tie by feeling but Solar Arc suggest the action are confused and divided.

4. Maastricht treaty

This is basic chart for EU and has more influence of EU current situation and EU expansion also UK referendum.

  

The Asc on 14 Gemini Moon on 3 Gemini conjunct Node. Moon square Chiron , Mars conjunct Pluto and Uranus conjunct Neptune both square Venus , both Neptune Uranus also sextile Mercury are major themes of this chart. The Uranus Neptune conjunct suggest an idea to be bigger then before for something good. There is also historical idea as great united states of European behind this chart present by Moon Chiron square in 12th and 4th.

In Transit we can see the grand cross hit Maastricht treaty quit hard . Acc square by Neptune Jupiter and opposite by Saturn on Dsc. Transit Pluto on Ur Ne, the great revolutionary idea , the unrealistic dreams face the most crucial reality (Pluto in Capricorn) . Transit Mars square Saturn suggest the criticism on EU structure.      

Transit Pluto sextile Mercury (Asc ruler) and SP Pluto conjunct chart ruler suggest the power struggle and lock of clarity  in EU has been point out and the request of reform. SA Uranus and Neptune conjunct MC remind people the good intention of this great idea. However SA Sun soon will form a semi square with Neptune and Urnanus suggest we realise how difficult to carry these great ideas.   

David Cameron

Another way to analyse this question is check David Cameron’s chart as He represent campaign of  stay in EU and will face huge challenge from Boris Johnson, if the result of referendum is leave he have big change to face party leader challenge and lost his PM position. R

Cameron has  Libra ascendent Sun and Venus both in Libra.

As Mark Cullen and other traditional astrologers apply Bonatti’s battle field chart technique with  opening of poll chart. I really interesting and enjoy reading this . I have to be very honest to say, if anything  in  astrology suggest 50-50 and many analyses can not give me a clear direction.

This chart could be last draw for me to judge the favour is in “ leave “ company .

As 1975 remain campaign (Government so as 1st house) win , we can see 7 house ruler caught in 1st house and 1st house ruler conjunct with Jupiter in 11th. For 2016 EU referendum table turned, 1st ruler will be in 7th without any major aspect.

Every year in June when the sun arrives at its furthest point from the celestial equator in the northern hemisphere, the longest day of the year marks the start of Summer in northern hemisphere (and winter in the  southern hemisphere). As the longest day, the Summer Solstice has an important meaning in many different cultures. In Britain and northern Europe Midsummer Day (24th June in UK) is related to the summer solstice,  We can still see Pagan worship of the Sun rise at stonehenge on this day.  In ancient China, the summer solstice was an official holiday and there is records of Ladies giving fans and sachets to each other as gifts.  Fans to use for chills and sachets to work against flies and bugs.  Some researchers believe that the famous dragon boat festival in East Asia (Japan, Taiwan, Laos and China)  are also related to the Summer Solstice.

For astrologers, the Summer Solstice is an important day as the Sun reaches the highest point in northern hemisphere and is going to change direction towards the South.  The word solstice comes from the Latin, solstitium , sol = sun and stit =  stationary.

For the Solstice in June,  the Sun stops going further North and moves towards the South. For Astrologers who use tropical zodiac, Sun moves into Cancer on this day.

Although astrologers influence is not as powerful as before, in the Mundane events, we can still see the remains of the influence on the World Map.  The Solstice happens because Earth tilts  at 23° 26’, this make us believe the sun is traveling up and down (North and South) around Equator.  During the Summer Solstice, the Sun reaches 23° 26’  North and stops going further North.  Our ancestors call this line on the latitude “Tropic of Cancer “.  Algeria, Egypt, India, Taiwan, China, Mexico and Bahamas are the countries near this latitude.

Astrologers believe that the four cardinal signs are like milestones on the zodiac, to mark seasonal change. Aries ingress for the Spring in the Northern Hemisphere, Cancer ingress for Summer, Libra ingress for Autumn and Capricorn ingress suggests the beginning of Winter in Northern Hemisphere and it is start of Summer for the Southern Hemisphere.

As we believe that Sun move into Cardinal sign as a beginning point of season, Mundane astrologers  also use it to forecast seasonal events usually combined with other techniques such as Eclipses, Lunation,  Country’s natal chart (and any transit, progression ) and  planetary synod circles.

Full moon Cancer ingress

This year, Cancer ingress of the Sun happens on 20 June 2016 at 22:34 UT (23:34 BST). It is a Full Moon so this is a season where we can witness the results of our past achievements. It is also a testing moment for relationships and cooperation between different countries and organisations. The Sun moves into Cancer opposite its ruler, the  Moon, in Capricorn which suggests division between people and strong disappointment of leadership in many countries and organisations.

Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune and Mercury form a grand cross suggesting conflict will continue and tension will increase. US and Australia still have elections going on. UK and EU have to build a better relationship and deal with the refugee crisis. The threat of financial crisis is building up and many bankers and economists are afraid to point them out. 

Meanwhile there are other aspects working together with this grand cross, Jupiter trine Pluto and Saturn trine with Uranus, both aspect in one way build up  the confidence of the financial market but also support the super rich continuing to dominate our life by influencing politicians with their patronage. For example, in the US presidential nomination race for the Democrat party, some supporter are really worried about Hillary Clinton and the big money behind her.  As we are in the end of the Uranus Pluto cycle, this is part of process where we can change our society toward better future. The problem is: are we going to do this gently or violently? As Jupiter trine Pluto and Saturn trine Uranus I believe the gentle way is more popular at the moment.      

As Full moon on the Cancer Ingress day, Where the Sun-Moon axis  locate suggest the area of focus.

EU and UK : This area has Full Moon on 5th-11th Axis, this suggest Sport, Game, Competition, Entreatment, show business, Birth rate, issues around Children, Social benefit, Charities, House of Lords, Local government against State or divisions in the Cabinet.  Which we already see happening and this Full moon on solstice will make it more obvious.  Moon in Capricorn in its Full, this suggests people have little power and are dominated by government or feelings of fear, as Saturn near the MC and Lord of 8th house Venus conjunct the Sun.

It does not matter if the UK votes for leave or not,  European countries still have to stay together to find solutions for the refugee crisis and the threat from terrorists, the growing fear and need for security and protection may increase the volume of extreme right-wing voices.       

US and Canada:US and Canada have Sun Moon Axis near 2-8 and Jupiter are very close to MC. There is uncertainty about the Economic and Political future but the optimistic view keeps people up.  Government will focus on finance and resources this summer, may be instability in the rest of the world will make the US dollar much stronger until the bubble bursts.

Asian Pacific areas are more likely to focus on border disputes or any land problems (earthquake or landslide) as the Lord of 4th conjunct the Sun in solstice. Problems in the Public heath system, epidemics, police force and labor conflict as most countries have Full moon axis near 6-12 axis. Australia has Pluto rule 4th on Descendent , apart from problems of Land and House, this could also suggest political tension as near the election, also we can expect fear and unpleasant events during this season.

Here is few dates I will suggest people and organisation do extra careful in certain area of life. 

13-30 June Venus out of Bound: Art, Love, female affairs could be focus of news.  Markets go crazy as we already see the stock market has fallen since early June. The Orlando shooting brings out the inequality of LGBTQ group, and UK has seen a female MP being shot dead during this time.

28th June to 9th July Mercury out of Bound: Student, Transport, information could be the focus in News.

19 June – 11 July and 8th August  – 31st October:19 June – 11 July  Mars Stationary 23 Scorpion and 8th August  – 31st October Mars out of Bound: conflict and violence levels will going up globally.    

23 July – 5th Aug Uranus stationary on 24 Aries : another extremely  unsettled time, events happening during this time could be very shocking, happening suddenly with no way to escape.     

10-17 August Saturn stationary on 9 Sagittarius as it happens together with Mars out of Bound the suggests increasing levels of violence and conflict, Saturn is stationary and suggests authority and right wing parties will gain some power and support during this time.

As Summer solstice is a part of the Mundane forecasting skill I will always take other techniques into account a well. Solar Eclipse and Country chart and leader’s birth chart  would be also important.  For example, for UK, Saturn is on the angle in both March 2016 Solar Eclipse chart and Cancer Ingress chart this suggests the Saturnian experience of holding back, decreasing, depression would certainly appear for this summer. For US, as Jupiter and Chiron near MC/IC in the Cancer ingress chart,  this will trigger Jupiter and Chiron ’s influence as both Planets are opposite and conjunct with Solar Eclipse New Moon. For China it would be repeat of 6-12 houses issues and also beware of violent events or conflicts with other countries, as Mars on the Descent of Eclipse chart and Pluto on the Descent of Cancer Ingress chart.

This tragedy happened in Orlando gay club – Pulse ( Florida) ,  at 2:02am 12 June 2016, according report 50 killed and 53 injured. It is most deadliest mass shooting in US history. Be a part of LGBTI communities I am deeply shocking about this event and feel sorry for people who lost their life their loved one in this event. This is a terrorist attack aim on LGBTI communities, hate crime doesn’t matter what religion is behind and I still believe there is religious who believe in love and equal right .  

The Event chart has Chiron close to Ascendent and trine Mars , I was very concern about Chiron Mars combination in the New Moon chart, several important violence attack does happened when Chiron contact with Mars, usually the hard aspect but this time Chiron form a tight trine with Mars. We know there is a grand cross on New Moon chart of 5th June , this grand cross from by Sun Moon Venus Jupiter Saturn Neptune. The Saturn Neptune are very interesting linking with lots of extremism religious crisis.   

The first time I heard about this attract I draw the event chart and Eclipse chart but nothing stand out but Uranus on the angle in the both Solar and Lunar Eclipse. This could related to the shocking and soddenly separation also Uranus has been consider as a symbol of homosexuality and the place has been attacked is a gay club.

 

When I double check and correct the time to 2:02 am theAscendent change from 29 Pisces to 00 Arise , this remind me something must link with Aries ingress and we find Mars is exact conjunct the Ascendent of  Aries ingress chart . We can see in the Astromap that Mars is over Orlando on the Aries Ingress chart .

The Perpetrator Omar Mir Seddique Mateen was boron in New York in November 16, 1986 time unknown, it will surprise you when you see the synastry between Mr Mateen and Event chart, His Sun conjunct transit Mars, his Mars in 24 Aquarius square his natal Sun and square Transit Mars, His Chiron conjunct transit Sun , and it is his Saturn return this year. As time Unknow I don’t want to use this Moon ( opposite his Mars and conjunct Algol. only if he was boron on Midday)    

We know one of strange function in Astromap is that both ACG lines and Local Space lines can relate one place to another.  We know Mateen was born in New York and the Saturn LS event chart toward to New York from Orlando, Uranus LS line from New Moon chart also goes to New York. 

Personally I don’t like to emphasis about Mr.Mateen’s race background but it is very strange  that astromap, both Lines link from Orland to New York also pass by Afghanistan where his parents from as in the media he has been indicate as Afghanistan descent.

for Mr Mateen both his Sun and Moon were parans with Menkar , Saturn on Nadir when Aldebaran is culminating.

It looks like Menkar (α) Cetus play an important role here , this fixed star locate on Cetus’s ( Sea monster ) mouth  , Ptolemy given Saturn nature and some astrologer does give Mars nature it also associated with Violence.

Venus out of Bound

Sad story, just saw  news about Mr Mateen did use Gay date app and he went to ” Pulse” several times and we know this maybe true that he have to hide his sexuality at home because of family and religion.

We should ask what made him doest this ? His usually bitch about his father … He even has visited Pulse several times. He got annoyed by two men kissing.

The fundamental cause of this tragedy is not extremism nor Muslim,This is a tragedy about people who have issue to accept their own sexuality. This is a one of tragedies that  people suffering from the discrimination because of their sexuality. Is about how could we offer better environment to support them. We know we can change this by open our arms and treat each other with respect.   

Again Venus is out of bound , love is out of control , maybe is is a best time to worship Venus by recognise “ Love “ is me, and I am love.

June 2016 could be a hectic month for everyone as Sun, Moon, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune form a Mutable grand cross on the New Moon chart, even though this Grand Cross will disappear after one week, its influence, like a solid imprint on the ground, will last for whole month (lunar cycle). Sun, Moon, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune form a Mutable Grand cross in the new moon chart.

A mutable grand cross suggests a highly uncertain view of the future, like we are at a crossroad and don’t know which way to go.  There are so many choices and  there are so many rumours. I am not predicting whether he going to win the election or not I, just point out how he represents the current outer planets configuration.

If we examine the planets involved in this grand cross we can understand the areas where we should be careful. The Sun suggests leaders and celebrities.  During this time they are representing different futures that we are going to choose.  What kind of society do you want to live in, for example in US:  Dramatic Trump style; Socialist Sanders style; or old elite Clinton style. Update : Mutable signs or Common signs  ( 4 Jun 2016 )

Mutable signs maybe suggest that we are wondering where to go? However, could we do more ? Make more options rather than to be compelled ? No one tell us the only ways is East or West. Could we go North East or South West ?

Another idea Jump out when I look the New Moon chart , if we look the New Moon chart , Mercury is SUN MOON Dispositor in the New Moon chart, look Mercury’s position , 20 degrees Taurus , it is 2 degrees away from Jupiter Saturn conjunction in 2000 (22 degrees Taurus ) .

This is clear enough , this Mutable ground cross in New Moon chart suggest we are in ending part of  Jupiter Saturn cycle and what we observed ( to See : Sun) at this time is guiding us go to exam the choice we made in 2000 when Jupiter conjunct Saturn in Taurus. If our choice is “ Money , Material world , Material orientation “ and look what we have now , Super Rich , Plutocracy , if we continue like this the things we going to eat is bank note , coins and bank statement .  It time to make some change and don’t let other do it for you .
