As Jupiter in Virgo , I was waiting for a girly or earthy song to win. It could be “ Money money money” or “ Like a virgin “ before the contest started, but I did not get that much Virgo flavour during this contest, part from much of the participate were stood on the stage sang their song alone without dancer, fire or guinea pig wheel. Ukraine singer Jamala won the 2016 Eurovision song contest with a song name 1944, I then read the story about this song and realised there are big argument about this song as Russia is not happy with the story behind this Song “Deportation of the Crimean Tatars “ . Use her voice Jamala told us the story about what’s happen between 18-20 May 1944. It is a collective punishment ordered by Stalin for the Crimean Tatars collaboration with the Nazi occupation regime in Taurida Subdistrict during 1942–1943. During this period 200,000 crimean has been remove from their homeland and cause more than 100,000 deportees die in starvation or disease as a direct result of deportation.

Now if we make a bi wheel between Eurovision final and Deportation on 1944 , you will surprise find out Venus is back to same position , Eurovision Mars is opposite 1944 Uranus (opposite 1944 Eclipse Mars) , 2016 Eurovision Moon Jupiter conjunct on Virgo on 1944’s Chiron (the wounded healer). When the winner announced Moon move to 8 degree Virgo, tight conjunct with 1944 Chiron. Jamala told us part of this song is … is a Crimean Tatar folk song she heard form her great grandmother , Moon , Jupiter , Chiron Virgo … planets combination fit into this sad story.

Maybe I am still not get how to link this year winner’s song to Jupiter Virgo but when I watch again Jamala’s performing I saw that beautiful flower pattern grow to a tree while she was sining , is that Chiron on the IC ? Is that Jupiter Moon on the MC of event chart ? Yesterday’s wound could be heal by today’s glory?
I don’t know argument of song 1944 before I watch the Song contest, however this song is really touching , Jamala’s voice is deep and healing, people talk about her accusation of 1944, yes it sounds like accusation if you take Russia’s view however if you step in to crimean Tartars shoes, we are witness a tragic event we share their pain and help to heal this wound by recognise their sorrow. I’d rather say it is a requiem for 1944 of a requiem for people who lost homeland, for people who lost family, who been killed or torture during Genocide, it is very healing … I wasn’t listen the lyrics first time but with her voice I had already tears in my eyes. Her magnetic voice drag people to listen with heart , her body move like a witch healing everyone in a shamanic way . The feeling is so powerful for me. She heard the story from her family she witness their sorrow, I wish by singing their sorrow her music and glory can maybe heal these collective wounds , maybe this time detriment Jupiter Virgo try to show Us not only he can be joyous but he know how to heal too.
