The ruler of the new moon is Venus, it moves into Taurus where Venus rules. Meanwhile Jupiter turn to Direction from Retrograde The flavour of this lunar cycle could be exciting and jubilant. As Jupiter turns direction In one way, people may focus on progression positive future but underestimate the challenge still waiting. Jupiter direction on 9th May and Jupiter stationary between 6th-13th May on 13 degrees Virgo before it turn to direction. The traditional view of a planet being stationary before turn direction is better than the stationary before retrograde. Therefore this stationary has a positive meaning of recovery and temporary relief.
However we should still be very careful with outer planet stationary time as the most important shocking events, nature disasters happen during this time. It could be Jupiter related areas like Justice system, Higher Education, Religions, aero-industry and anything related to flight and also economic and finance market.
It is very interesting if we check the fixed stars during the Jupiter stationary time. For most places Jupiter is paran with Alkes ( α Crater ) as Jupiter is culminating when Alkes is culminating. Alkes has Venus and Mercury nature, it brings kind, generous, cheerful and receptive qualities, very similar the flavour of this new moon. In the Myth, the constellation Crater is the cup given by Apollo to Raven to bring some water for a party but Raven delays bringing it by eating the figs and lies about the water snake delaying the mission. From 12-17 May Mars will not form major aspect with other Planets. This is could be seen as un-aspected although there are a few minor aspects or aspect with Moon sometimes. During this time people are seeking a chance to prove that they are able to do something.
