Moon Wobble 
If you are familiar with lunation forecasting or Eclipse study, you will understand why I give such a warning, because between 24th May to 14th June we are going through Moon wobble period. This is usually the moment that important political and economical events take place. During this time the Sun will, step by step, get closer to forming a tight square to the Nodal axis and usually at this moment the Sun will be close to the area of zodiac where it will trigger Solar and Lunar Eclipse chart.

Beware that the next New Moon in 14 Gemini will trigger 2016 March Solar Eclipse as this Solar Eclipse degrees on 18 Pisces, also as it is on Mutable signs, timing and event styles are usually unpredictable, therefore I prefer give an early warning from now, especially as few bad financial indicators are happening this two weeks, there is Mercury Stationary (22 May),   the Moon wobble and of course The Jupiter Saturn Neptune T-square  happens at the same time.

As both financial indicators aspect, Jupiter-Saturn and Saturn-Neptune, are in the ending of their cycles , this usually causes upheaval in the world economy and it will last for one or two years. In this case please be very careful when you take any financial risks.
This idea comes from the planetary synod cycles. For humanistic astrologers, the cycle begins when two planet conjunct (like new moon). After conjunction, the faster planet moves away and there comes a waxing moon period like first semi-square (for example: crescent Moon) and first square (like first quarter Moon when Moon 90 degrees away from the Sun, after New Moon ). Then Opposition. This is waxing period and suggests development and growing time. After opposition, like the Sun Moon relationship after full Moon comes a time of decreasing the light, like waning Moon, then the square happens after opposition is most crucial timing as this cycle begins to end.

 

Jupiter represents ideas and development, Saturn is about structure and realisation of ideas. This pair of Planets relates to our social development. Jupiter-Saturn hard aspect also suggests we are at a turning point of our social development plan. The current Jupiter Saturn cycle began in 2000 and for the last 15 years we constructed our society in a materialistic way, as Jupiter-Saturn conjuncts in Taurus in 2000.

Now we are facing new challenges. Doesn’t money mean everything? How will our society develop now? How could 1% of the population end up owning a very large portion of economic wealth on the world, while the other 99% hold much less? When Jupiter forms a square with Saturn before the next conjunction in 2020 we need to think about these questions. Do you still want to live like this? If not, what do you have to do? Mars semi-square Pluto: as we expected, the oil price began to change from 17th May, the day Mars started to form a semi-square with Pluto. This could suggest another dramatic change on 20-22 May.  We also heard about the Egypt Air airplane crash on 19 May. Mars Pluto aspect usually brings us crises to remind us what is the meaning of life for you.

During this full moon we also have Sun Mars opposition, this suggests a Leadership challenge could be important news in the media for the next two weeks, from political to business spheres.

Last quarter Moon happen on 29 May 2016 at 8 degree Gemini-Pisces. triggering 2014 March event and 2014 June and possibly the week 2-9 Sep 2014 and week of 25Feb-3 Mar 2015.

Sun Square Jupiter opposite Saturn Neptune , in one way the Sun triggers the important political and financial events, in another way we notice there are some things that that we can no longer demand and we should let go of fantasy and dreams. This could also happen when famous people delude others with rumour.

I like Eurovision, an occasion that I can hear different songs from different talented singers and this event give us a chance to see different countries present their cultures and creativities. Be an astrologer I like the relation between the position of transiting Jupiter on the Gran final contest chart. Not only Jupiter represent social develop, party , joy and glory, Jupiter is also a symbol of pop culture and media , how we see the world.

This year ’s eurovison opening chart we have, Scorpio rising , Moon conjunct Jupiter and North Node in Virgo opposite Neptune .  If we look the Astromap from this chart , Saturn As line go through Ukraine to Moscow (very interesting) but Local space Mercury and Venus lines from Stockholm go to Ukraine where the winer Jamala from.

As Jupiter in Virgo , I was waiting for a girly or earthy song to win. It could be “ Money money money” or “ Like a virgin “ before the contest started, but I did not get that much Virgo flavour during this contest, part from much of  the participate were stood on the stage sang their song alone without dancer, fire or guinea pig wheel. However this is the best musical performance I ever seen , they were all great. Maybe this refer to hard working training of Virgo character. I have difficult to relate the winning song 1944 to Jupiter in Virgo . I almost gave up but next day I ask myself , why 1944 ?

Ukraine singer Jamala won the 2016 Eurovision song contest with a song name 1944, I then read the story about this song and realised there are big argument about this song as Russia is not happy with the story behind this Song “Deportation of the Crimean Tatars “ . Use her voice Jamala told us the story about what’s   happen between 18-20 May 1944. It is a collective punishment ordered by Stalin for the Crimean Tatars collaboration with the Nazi occupation regime in Taurida Subdistrict during 1942–1943. During this period 200,000 crimean has been remove from their homeland and cause more than 100,000 deportees die in starvation or disease as a direct result of deportation.

Saros cycle, the reason 1944 link with 2016

Does this mean much virgo for you ? Not for me , so far.

Let us back to Astrology what’s the relation between today and 1944 ? It is 72 years away , this directly leading us to thing about Nadal cycles ,yes both 1944 and 2016 are belong to same  Saros cycle, according Dr Bernadette Brady this is S.S 18 south , as an Mundane astrologerI am not a surprise the story of Deportation of the Crimean Tatars has been jump on the important musical event this year if both year belong to same Saros cycle. Usually events will have new develops when same saros cycles’ Eclipse happen again.   

The character of this Eclipse family are ending or separation however the pain of the separation leading to a positive outcomes. What a beautiful description, and it does fit in Jamala’s story.

That year Solar Eclipse was occurred 25th Jan 1944 if we draw a chart form Sevastopol we will see the Sun Moon conjunct in 4 Aquarius and opposite Pluto in 6 Leo, Pluto conjunct south Node and Ascendent, Mars in 6 degree Gemini conjunct Uranus, Saturn in 20 Gemini square Chiron in Virgo.

Now if we make a bi wheel between Eurovision final and Deportation on 1944 , you will surprise find out Venus is back to same position , Eurovision Mars is opposite 1944 Uranus (opposite 1944 Eclipse Mars) , 2016 Eurovision Moon Jupiter conjunct on Virgo on 1944’s Chiron (the wounded healer).  When the winner announced Moon move to 8 degree Virgo, tight conjunct with 1944 Chiron.      Jamala told us part of this song is … is a Crimean Tatar folk song she heard form her great grandmother , Moon , Jupiter , Chiron Virgo … planets combination fit into this sad story.

Finally if we check the astromap form 1944 deportation we will see the Sun As line and Mercury As Venus  line were near Stockholm, two events were 72 years apart, a tragic event and a music festival were link by Eclipse Cycles and Astromap for the both Event.

Maybe I am still not get how to link this year winner’s song  to Jupiter Virgo but when I watch again Jamala’s performing I saw that beautiful flower pattern grow to a tree while she was sining , is that Chiron on the IC ? Is that Jupiter Moon on the MC of event chart ? Yesterday’s wound could be heal by today’s glory?

I don’t know argument of song 1944 before I watch the Song contest, however this song  is really touching , Jamala’s voice is deep and healing, people talk about her accusation of 1944, yes it sounds like accusation if you take Russia’s view however if you step in to crimean Tartars shoes, we are witness a tragic event we share their pain and help to heal this wound by recognise their sorrow. I’d rather say it is a requiem for 1944 of a requiem for people who lost homeland, for people who lost family, who been killed or torture during Genocide, it is very healing … I wasn’t listen the lyrics first time  but with her voice I had already tears in my eyes. Her magnetic voice drag people to listen with heart , her body move like a witch healing everyone in a shamanic way . The feeling is so powerful for me. She heard the story from her family she witness their sorrow, I wish by singing their sorrow her music and glory can maybe heal these collective wounds , maybe this time detriment Jupiter Virgo try to show Us not only he can be joyous but he know how to heal too.

 Taurus new Moon will occur on 6 May at 16 degrees Taurus its influence will last until 5 Jun.  This new Moon has Sun Moon trine Jupiter and Pluto, Sun Moon also quincunx Saturn. The ruler of the new moon is Venus, it moves into Taurus where Venus rules.  Meanwhile Jupiter turn to Direction from Retrograde The flavour of this lunar cycle could be exciting and jubilant. As Jupiter turns direction In one way, people may focus on progression positive future but underestimate the challenge still waiting. Saturn quincunx Sun Moon suggests that we may notice some people who are not so popular at this moment as they remind us of the challenging tasks that are still there waiting for us.

During this New Moon the outer planets aspects are still focussed on the challenges of global economy, the Jupiter square Saturn and Saturn square Neptune suggest the threat of bear market is one step closer.  However as Jupiter moves direct, Jupiter conjunct North Node, Jupiter started to trine Pluto and Venus trine Pluto suggesting that most people have a positive view of the market at this moment, this could be a brief relief before we face a bigger challenge, or we could say it gives us time to prepare for the winter. The 12th, 20th,  21st, 30th of May could be very important turning point of investment market.  

Not only the financial market holds this positive view, the international political situation also has this kind of jubilance.  The ongoing peace talk gives us some hope of peace.  The give-and-take conditions that we will not see, can only reveal later.

Lunation

This new Moon will trigger the 10 May 2013 Solar Eclipses as the Sun Moon was located  on 19 Taurus. That year we had Edward Snowden revealed the mass surveillance project of the Pentagon.  We also have the Egyptian political crisis as President Morsi was deposed and there were also several huge earthquakes in the Philippines and Pakistan (both areas also need to be careful at this time).

Another related lunation is the Solar Eclipse on 7 Feb 2007  as it happened on  17 degrees Aquarius, it worried me as early that year the stock market had a big fall on 28th Feb.  The current new Moon triggered on Feb 2007 Solar Eclipse gives rise that possibility of upheaval on stock market during this lunation. The other events include Turkey blocking Youtube and China giving permission to Foreign banks including Citi bank and HSBC to start their business in China.

As this new moon is related to the first quarter moon on 5 Jan 2017, full moon on 5 Oct 2017

and last quarter moon on  6 Jul 2018 this suggests that things happen this moment could come back in these 3 periods in the future.

Jupiter stationary 6th-13th May

Jupiter direction on 9th May and Jupiter stationary between 6th-13th May on 13 degrees Virgo before it turn to direction. The traditional view of a planet being stationary before turn direction is better than the stationary before retrograde. Therefore this stationary has a positive meaning of recovery and temporary relief.

However we should still be very careful with outer planet stationary time as the most important shocking events, nature disasters happen during this time. It could be Jupiter related areas like Justice system, Higher Education, Religions, aero-industry and anything related to flight and also economic and finance market.   

It is very interesting if we check the fixed stars during the Jupiter stationary time.  For most places Jupiter is paran  with Alkes ( α Crater ) as Jupiter is culminating when Alkes is culminating.  Alkes has Venus and Mercury nature, it brings kind, generous, cheerful and receptive qualities, very similar the flavour of this new moon.  In the Myth, the constellation Crater is the cup given by Apollo to Raven to bring some water for a party but Raven delays bringing it by eating the figs and lies about the water snake delaying the mission.  Therefore Apollo sent them to Sky and Raven can never drink the water in the Crater. Some stories also relate Crater with Icarus’s wine and prophecy.  The Crater also could be seen as a symbol of the cup related to the holy grail and represents the female nature as the vessel that carries life. 

Maybe during this time we will witness someone chasing things that they long for.  We get some new idea (or a lie) of future (Prophecy)  , maybe the important meaning of all this events suggest that we focus on life itself and focus on what we receive.

First quarter Moon will happen on 13 May, Sun in 23 Taurus and Moon in 23 Leo, this belongs to Lunation family started at 18 May 2015 ( New Moon in 26 Taurus) and it also triggers New Moon of 14 Aug 2015 and 17 Aug 2012.

Events happened during these three lunation cycle maybe have echo between 17-21 May.

May 2015:  Biggest Earthquake since 1976 in Malaysia; Landslide in Colombia; Ireland votes to legalise same-sex marriage.

Un-aspected Mars

From 12-17 May Mars will not form major aspect with other Planets. This is could be seen as un-aspected although there are a few minor aspects or aspect with Moon sometimes. During this time people are seeking a chance to prove that they are able to do something.  As Mars is still retrograde and there are minor aspects with Pluto this un-aspected Mars have more unrest affecting in psychological level, we could easily feel offended and feel it is difficult to release our anger. 

Mars Pluto semi square usually suggests crisis, fighting and explosion , in my research it usually relates to oil price changes. There are the things that we should be careful between 17-21 May.
